Supporting individual clients in making sustainable, positive lifestyle changes in order to:
  • manage risk of lifestyle-related diseases, and 
  • develop coping strategies for the management of and rehabilitation from, existing conditions.
This includes leading and consulting to various programmes in the contexts of burnout, cardiac rehabilitation, stress management, AIDS, and weight management.
 
 

4. Business (1995 – present)

Work with various South African and International companies, focusing on leadership coaching, burnout prevention and self-management training. 
 
Clients have included: Deloitte, Old Mutual, EOH, de Beers, Cars.co.za, BDO, Cape  Community Newspapers (PTY) Ltd, Media24, Young Presidents  Organisation (YPO), Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), Ericsson,  Rieter AG (Switzerland), Percoms AG (Switzerland), Mount  Camdeboo Private Game Reserve, Master Builders Association.
 
 

5. Other

Public speaking engagements eg for Shape magazine, Risky Business  Events, Evergreen Lifestyle Villages, South African Sports Medicine Association (SASMA), Comrades Marathon Association, Two Oceans Marathon, Luitingh Alexander Musical Theatre Academy (LAMTA).

Guest lecturer in various academic departments (University of Cape Town & Stellenbosch University). 
 
Programme / course development eg ‘In The Zone’ corporate seminar, a 9-Step habit-formation programme’ for the Peebee exercise app, ‘Self-management’ course for Percoms AG, translation of ‘Leadership Programme’ for Percoms AG (German into English).
